Roger D. Cousens

Roger was my supervisor during my first postdoc at the University of Melbourne. I heard from Roger during my PhD, which is totally normal if you study weeds as he made an incredible contribution to the domain of plant ecology and plant population biology. So when I first met him, I was obviously very intimidated. But in fact, it does not last too long as Roger was instantaneously very kind, helpful and dedicated. This day I learned that you can be an internationally recognized researcher and simply remains a “good human”.
